Maria Brink

 Maria Brink was born December 18 1977. She is an American musician and singer. The band has released seven albums and won four nominations from the Alternative Press Music Awards. In addition, Brink was named "Rock Goddess of the Year" as well as "Hottest Chick" in Metal in the fifth (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards. She is also one of the 11 women from heavy rock that matter to Yell! Revolver Magazine recognized Brink as one of the top 25 Hot Chicks in Hard Rock & Metal in 2012 and Pulse in Albany, New York. When she was just 25 years old when she left for Los Angeles to search for an opportunity to join a band. She worked in stores, sang in bars and performed in coffee shops. She got to know Chris Howorth, now a member of the group, during an audition in 2004. Howorth initially turned down Brink due to her being a woman. After a few days, Howorth apologized and hired Brink as the singer. They created Dying Star together with Jeff Fabb, drummer. Later, Blake Bunzel, guitarist, as well as Josh Newell, bassist joined the group. In the course of time, the group changed their names to In This Moment
