Paula Patton, an American actress and producer is best well-known for her role as the lead in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action spy thriller) and Precious (a drama). The majority of her childhood was spent at Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled the love of movies in the young girl. Paula was active with her school's cocurricular activities and was particularly drawn to drama. She loved to play act with her friends and participated in school's stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act during her high school years and she picked acting for a profession. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. The program was awarded to her by PBS to make documentaries for the course of three months. After she had completed the assignment in three months, her first job was in the field of production for television documentaries. When she was done with her work, she started producing documentary films. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to be an actor. She began her journey into acting by playing Will Smith's co-star for the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in a variety of popular films and TV programs.
