Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is a half-Spanish an English-speaking woman. The father of her mother, who is native of Argentina with Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother comes from Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy said the move in London was stressful as she wasn't able to master English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in productions. She quit high school at the age of 16 to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy is a child actor and was sure she would eventually become one. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
